Answer
We strongly recommend that you have a termite inspection carried out at least every 12 months. If you live in a high risk area, then we recommend more regular inspections, between 3 and 6 months, as recommended under The Australian standard AS3660.2 for Termite inspections.
Answer
We ask you not to disturb them or spray them with insecticide. Disturbing them will force them to head back under ground and make them more difficult to treat and increase the risk of them appearing in another location. Termites are a serious problem and need to be handled by a professional. Give us a call if you think you have an active termite problem.
Answer
Give us a call. The truth is, it is very difficult to find a dead rodent in a home due to the large amount of air conditioning ducts, insulation, wall cavities and other cosy places for them to hide. It makes it almost impossible to find the carcass but don’t worry, we can place a deodorizer bag in the roof space or cavity (at a small fee) and it will absorb the smell until the body decomposes. This process usually takes around 7-10 days.
Answer
If you are having a pest spray outside, we ask that you ensure all windows and doors are closed and that washing is off the clothesline. Pet’s toys, food and water bowls will need to be brought inside and any children’s toys, pacifiers, bottles and shoes also must be placed inside. If you are having fumigation inside, we just ask that you cover any exposed food. If you are having a termite barrier treatment or annual termite treatment and you have an excessive amount of plants or items stored along the walls of the home, we request that they be moved 1 metre from the wall so that the operators can have easier access for drilling and injecting.
Answer
As soon as know when settlement is arranged. In accordance with Australian Standards 4349.3 a pre-purchase inspection must be carried out with 30 days prior to settlement.

Answer
Normally we say 12 months, but this can depend on a number of factors; the severity of the problem, environmental conditions surrounding the home (e.g. bushland, lakes, gardens etc.) and treatment selection. Most of our clients prefer to stick to regular 12 monthly treatments so that the problem does not re-occur at all.
