One of the main issues we find with a tenanted property, is the lack of awareness of whether or not there is an active termite infestation. A tenant is not likely to notice the problem and subsequently report it, leaving the property open to significant damage. We strongly suggest that all tenanted properties have termite protection in place or at the bare minimum, an inspection every 6- 12 months from a licensed pest inspector. This is an Australian standard recommendation which should be adhered to in order to ensure protection up to date and effective.
